SSC has published a notification for recruitment in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) & Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and in Assam Rifles on its website (ssc.nic.in) and in the employment newspaper dated 17 July to 23 July 2021 after 2018.

Education Qualification :
- The candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University.
Age Limits :
- Minimum Age : 18 Years
- Maximum Age : 23 Years
- Age relaxation is as per rules as (01/08/2021) (Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.08.1998 and later than 01.08.2003).
- Age Relaxation: SC/ ST /OBC/PWD/ PH Candidates Relaxation as per Government Rule Regulation.
Pay Scale:
- The selected candidates for the post of SSC Constable GD will get a salary of Pay Level-3 (Rs 21700-69100).
Nationality/ Citizenship :
Candidate must be a citizen of India. Vacancies are state/ UT wise hence a candidate must submit domicile/ PRC against his state/ UT.

- Female – 1.6 Kms in 8 ½ minutes
For candidates of Ladakh Region :
- Male – 1 Mile in 6 ½ minutes
- Female – 800 metres in 4 minutes
Physical Standard Test (PST)
Height :
- General Male candidates – 170 cm
- General Female candidates – 157 cm
- ST Male candidates – 162.5 cm
- ST Female Candidates – 150 cm
Chest :
- General, SC & OBC male candidates – 80/5
- ST – 76/5
Weight:
Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
Medical Examination :
Candidates who qualify PET/ PST will be called for Detailed Medical Examination (DME) which includes Eye-Sight Check-up, Medical Test (X-Ray) chest-PA view, Haemoglobin, Urine routine/ microscopic examination etc.
Incentive to NCC Certificate Holders:
The incentive to ‘NCC Certificate’ holders will be granted at the following scales:
Certificate Category Incentive/ Bonus marks
- NCC ‘C’ Certificate 5% of the maximum marks of the examination
- NCC ‘B’ Certificate 3% of the maximum marks of the examination
- NCC ‘A’ Certificate 2% of the maximum marks of the examination
