Education Qualification :
Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant :
- Candidates must have passed 12th standard (Matric with 12th class Pass) or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university.
- Candidates will be required to furnish certificate of Basic Training from a recognized Computer Training Institute.
Postman/ Mail Guard :
- Candidates must have passed 12th standard (Matric with 12th class Pass) or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university.
- Candidates will be required to furnish certificate of Basic Training from a recognized Computer Training Institute.
Multi Tasking Staff :
- Candidates must have passed 10th standard (Matriculation) Pass from a recognized board.

Nationality :
Applicant must be either –
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or

- Sportsmen who have represented a State or the country in the National or International competition in any required games / sports (listed in official advertisement).
- Sportsmen who have represented their University in the inter University Tournaments conducted by their Inter-University Sports Board.
- Sportsmen who have represented the State Schools Teams in the National Sports / Games for Schools conducted by the All India School Games Federations in any of the Games / Sports.
- Sportsmen who have been awarded National Awards in Physical Efficiency under the National Physical Efficiency Drive.
