Education Qualification :
To be eligible for the NABARD Grade A 2021 exam, the candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a particular subject/specialty. Meaning that the candidate must have chosen and studied that subject as a major in all the semesters, and the same is mentioned in the University issued Degree Certificate.
Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ (Rural Development Banking Service) :
- Candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate degree in any subject and Agriculture/Food Processing /Food Technology/ Dairy Sciences and /or Dairy Technology/Environmental Science / Environmental Engineering from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 45%)
- Chartered Accountant /Cost Accountant / Company Secretary with a Bachelor’s degree OR two-year P.G. Diploma in Management / MBA degree from recognized Institutions with a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream.
Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ (Rajbhasha Service) :
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university in English/Hindi medium where Hindi and English as a compulsory or elective subject with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD) in the aggregate
- Bachelor’s Degree with Hindi and English as main subjects with a minimum of 50% marks (pass marks for SC/ST/PWBD) in the aggregate
- Post Graduate Degree from a recognized university in Hindi with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD) in the aggregate and English as a compulsory/elective subject at Graduation level OR Candidate must be able to translate from English to Hindi and vice/versa.
- Candidate must possess the ability to translate from English to Hindi and vice/versa OR holds a Post Graduate Degree in English with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PWBD) and Hindi as the main subject at Graduation level.
Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ (Protocol & Security Service) :
- Candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate degree in any subject from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST/PWBD applicants – 45%)

Note : The NABARD Grade A Syllabus is one of the very important instruments that can help you while preparing for the examination. A clear idea of the syllabus and exam pattern will not only help you to prepare for the exam but will also help you to strategize your preparation accordingly. The NABARD Grade A prelims exam is conducted online and is a Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) type paper. The mains comprises two papers – I, II. The duration of the mains exam for all posts is one hour 30 minutes.
