Education Qualification :
Sub-Inspector :
- The candidate should be a graduate from a recognised university or institution .
- The candidate should be able to speak, read, write Odia & passed M.E. School or higher examinations with Odia language as a subject or passed H.S.C or equivalent exam with Odia as a medium of examination.
Constable :
- The candidate must have passed their 12th or equivalent exam conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha or by any other recognized Board or Council.
- The candidate must have passed a diploma in computer application or equivalent course from a recognized institution duly affiliated by the Government.
Age Limits :
Sub-Inspector :
- Minimum Age : 21 Years
- Maximum Age : 25 Years
- Age relaxation as per rules as (01/01/2021) .
Constable :
- Minimum Age : 18 Years
- Maximum Age : 23 Years
- Age relaxation as per rules as (01/01/2021) .
Selection Process :
- Written Examination
- Physical Standards(height, weight, chest)
- Physical Efficiency Tests
Written Examination :
For Constable :
- The written test may preferably be conducted using OMR or OCR or any other mordern format or Computer Based Technology as decided by the board.
- Medium will be English (except questions on Odia language).
- A negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- Duration : 2 hours
