PSSSB Punjab Police Recruitment 2021 – Apply Online for 847 Warder and Matron Vacancy: Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board (PSSSB) invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of 847 posts out of which 815 vacancies for Warder post (Only for Males) and 32 vacancies are for the post of Matron (Only for Females). Those Candidates who are interested to the following vacancies and completed all eligibility criteria i.e education qualification, age limit, Physical Measurements etc. can read the notification & Apply online.

PSSSB Vacancy Details

Total No. of Posts : 847 Posts

1. Warder (Only for Males) – 815 Posts
2. Matron (Only for Females) – 32 Posts

Educational Qualification :

Candidates Should Possess 10+2 or equivalent examination of any recognized education board with punjabi upto matriculation.

Age Limit :

Minimum 18 years and Maximum 27 years as on 01.01.2021 (Relaxation for reserved categories will be applicable as per Government guidelines).

Physical Eligibility :

For Warder Posts (Only for Male Candidates) :

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) :

• 100 Meters Run: 15 Seconds (Only one Chance)
• Shot Put (7.26 Kg) (16 Pound): 5.50 Meters (Three Chance)
• Rope Climbing: 15 Feet (Three Chance)

Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

Physical Standards Minimum Height:

• 5 Feet 7 Inches
• 5 Feet 4-1/2 Inches in case of Dogras & Gurkhas.
• Chest: 33 Unexpanded 31-1/2 Expanded
• Vision: Normal in both eyes (with or without Spectacles) (must not be colour blind)

For Matron Posts (Only for Female Candidates) :

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

• 100 Meters Run: 18.5 Seconds (Only one Chance)
• Shot Put (5.443 Kg) (12 Pound): 4.00 Meters (Three Chance)
• Rope Climbing: 12 Feet (Three Chance)

Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

Physical Standards Minimum Height:

• 5 Feet 3 Inches
• Weight: 50 Kg & Above
• Vision: Normal in both eyes (with or without Spectacles) (must not be colour blind)

Application Fees :

• For GEN: Rs.1000/-
• For SC/BC/ EWS candidates: Rs. 250/-
• For Ex-Servicemen & Dependent: Rs. 200/-

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online only on or before 31.05.2021 through the website www.sssb.punjab.gov.in and no other mode of application will be accepted.
